Ann Fezuk

Ann Drozdick Fezuk, 84 of Scranton, passed away peacefully Tuesday, October 8, at Hospice of the Sacred Heart Inpatient Unit, Dunmore. Ann was the widow of Stephen Fezuk who died on September 13, 2001. Born in Gibson, she was the daughter of the late Stephen and Helen Hunisch Drozdick. Ann was a graduate of West Scranton High School, a cello player in the orchestra, a member of St. John’s Byzantine Catholic Church and St. Elizabeth’s Guild. Ann worked as a meat-wrapper at the Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company (A&P in Dunmore); followed by working for and retiring from Brunetti’s Market in West Scranton. A beautiful woman who cherished her family, Ann will always be remembered for her kind, open mind and her special way of saying, “I love you.” She is survived by one daughter; Carol Ann Fezuk, Lewes, Delaware, one son; Steven Charles Fezuk and wife Andrea, Herndon, Virginia; three grandchildren, Monica, Kristina and Alexa Fezuk, Herndon; and her loving live-in companion of many years, Joseph Pastelok, Scranton. Family and friends may call on Thursday, 4 to7 pm in the Edward J. Chomko Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 262 Railroad Avenue, West Scranton. A Funeral Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Friday at 9 am, in St. John’s Byzantine Catholic Church by the Rev. Leonard A. Martin, S.J., Pastor Interment will be private. Panachyda services at 5 pm and Rosary recital will be held by St. Elizabeth’s Guild and The Holy Name Society at 6 pm Thursday, in the Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, you may choose to make a donation in Ann’s name to Hospice of the Sacred Heart, 100 William Street, Dunmore, PA 18510.
