Ann Searfoss

Ann Searfoss, born March 31, 1943 was called home to join Tina Maria and Nichole Searfoss. She was a strong & determined woman living her life simply.  She was happy to play bingo, do puzzle books or assemble thousand piece puzzles with Tina. Ann raised six children under very difficult circumstances alone. Ann strived to keep her family together. Ann raised her children using old fashioned tough love. Ann trusted this best to prepare us for this world. She had no support for herself, but she continued to do her best to raise her children. She loved all of us and made sure we were together as a family, even when we were separated she ensured that the family was brought back together. Her work here is complete and she can rest, relax with Tina & Nichole. I like to think they are putting a thousand piece puzzle together. Mom we love you. Ann was predeceased by Tina Marie & Nicole Searfoss, brothers; Robert and Richard Jenkins. Ann Searfoss is survived by her son Norman Thomas & his wife Mary Searfoss. Her grandson Norman J. and his wife Jessie Searfoss. Her great grandson Norman Tre Searfoss and several additional grandchildren and great grandchildren, her daughters, Mary Ann Searfoss and Deborah DePrimo, son David Searfoss. Special thanks to the staff at Allied Service for the compassionate care Ann received. A Religious Service will be held on Tuesday at 9:30 am in the Edward J. Chomko Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 262 Railroad Avenue, West Scranton. Viewing for family and friends will be on Monday, 4 to 7 pm
