Danielle Ann Harrington, 50 years young, passed on Monday, February 17, from injuries received in an automobile accident. Danielle was born in Scranton and is the daughter of Mary Ludovici Cooper Factoryville, and Daniel McColligan, Lake Worth, FL and stepfather Mark Cooper, Factoryville. She was a 1992 graduate of Riverside High School and attended Penn State University Worthington Campus. She was employed for many years as a financial advisor for the Bank of America and recently with Astound Broad Band. Danielle had a personality bigger than life and once you met her, you would love her and never forget her.
Danielle was a Gift of Life organ donor whose wishes were to help others in need of life savingĀ transplants.
The family would like to thank friends, doctors, nurses, technicians and staff members at Geisinger/CMC. for their compassionate care extended to Danielle and her family.
She is survived by her parents, Mary, Mark and Daniel, her daughter, Alexes, grandsons, William and Shawn, brother, Michael M. Ferrett and wife Anastasia, NJ, stepsister, Kathleen Douglas and husband James, Avoca, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a brother, Mark Anthony Ferrett, maternal grandparents, Matthew and Loretta Ludovici and paternal grandmother, Gertrude McColligan.
Calling hours will be on Monday, 4 to 7 pm. with a Service at 3:30 pm officiated by the Rev. Fr. Paul A. McDonnell O.S.J. in the Edward J. Chomko Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 262 Railroad Avenue. West Scranton. Inurnment will be Private.
