David A. Stawinsky, 56, passed on Sunday, February 14, 2021 at Regional Hospital. Born in Scranton, he is the son of Eleanor M. Stawinsky, Scranton and the late Jacob P. Stawinsky. A graduate of Scranton Technical High School and NEIU, Dave was employed as an over the road truck driver and was a member of the Polish Club and the Taurus Club. He is also survived by his daughter, Dana Stawinsky and husband Matt, Scranton, two granddaughters; Shaelyn and Evalyn, two brothers, Jacob Stawinsky and wife Cheryl, Scranton, Stephen Stawinsky and wife Carmella, Scranton, three sisters; Deborah Beavers and husband Lee, Scranton, Diane Forsythe and husband Tom, North Carolina, Mary Fuller and husband Earl, Scranton, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. A Memorial Celebration of Life will be held at a date and place to be announced. Arrangements under the care and direction of the Edward J. Chomko Funeral Home & Cremation Services, West Scranton.
