Felicia Bocan of Dunmore, PA, passed away on September 1, 2025, at the age of 85, after years of health challenges. She spent her final days in the care of Hospice of the Sacred Heart, surrounded by love. Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late John and Ethel SanRoman.

Known to most simply as Mom, Grammy, Aunt Felicia, or affectionately as MomBo, Felicia had a way of making everyone feel like family. She was the sweetest, most loving, kind person you could ever meet, and her family, will miss her beyond words.

Felicia married Joseph Bocan in 1962, and together they raised two sons. Although Joe passed away in 2012, they always shared a strong bond and deep respect for one another. In later years, Felicia also found companionship with Ralph “Larry” Talerico, with whom she shared many happy years until his passing in 2016.

She was a devoted mother to her sons, Jeffrey Bocan and John Bocan, with his girlfriend, Tina Pavlovicz. She was also the proud sister of Rose Fecina and of Dorothy Constable, who passed in 1999. Felicia adored her nephews Franco Fecina and John Paul Fecina, along with his wife, Kim, and their son, Jackson. She also cherished her niece Francine Constable and her partner, Lamont White. She treasured her granddaughters: Devin Bocan, with her fiancé, Anthony Conti; Samantha Biggs, with her husband, Stefan; and Katlynn Sheare, with her husband, Jason. Her joy multiplied with her great-grandchildren Ruby, Jack, Julianna, Jett, Jase, and Katie, each of whom she loved dearly.

Felicia worked for many years as a seamstress at Golo and AAA Trouser. She wasn’t much for traveling, but she always looked forward to an afternoon at the casino, a good martini in hand, and time spent with family.

Felicia’s faith in Jesus gave her hope for eternal life. Her family finds comfort knowing she is now with Him in Heaven. She will be remembered for her sense of humor, her strength, and the love she poured into her family.
