Henry Kwiatkowski

Henry “Hank” L.  Kwiatkowski, passed on Sunday AT Moses Taylor Hospital. His wife of 61 years is Marion Czyzyk Kwiatkowski. Born in Taylor, He is the son of the late Henryk and Tillie Borek Kwiatkowski. Hank was a member of St. John’s Byzantine Catholic Church, Scranton, a former President of the Holy Name Society, and had been chairman of the church Holy Name breakfasts, and picnics. Hank was a United States Air Force veteran and a former Commander for American Legion Post 306, Taylor. Hank was always able to put a smile on your face when you were down, was always willing to help anyone that needed it and never asked for anything in return. He was known in the church as the best custodian ever. He is survived by his wife Marion, one brother, John Kwiatkowski, Ansonia, CT, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents, two brothers, Joseph and Paul and two infant siblings. Divine Liturgy will be con-celebrated on Friday at 10 am in St. John’s Byzantine Catholic Church, by the Rev. Leonard A. Martin S.J. and the Rev. John Cigan. Interment with Military Honors will be in St. John’s Byzantine Catholic Cemetery, Minooka. Viewing for family and friends will be on Thursday 3 to 6 pm, in the Edward J. Chomko Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 262 Railroad Avenue, West Scranton. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Hank’s name can be made to St. John’s Byzantine Catholic Church, 310 Broadway Street, Scranton, PA 18505 or the donor’s choice of charity.

Viewing for family and friends will be on Thursday 3 to 6 pm,

Divine Liturgy will be con-celebrated on Friday at 10 am in St. John’s Byzantine Catholic Church, by the Rev. Leonard A. Martin S.J. and the Rev. John Cigan.

Interment with Military Honors will be in St. John’s Byzantine Catholic Cemetery, Minooka.
