Karen Palmer, grandmother, mother and wife transitioned from this Earth, Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at the age of 57. Karen Michelle Palmer was born in the Bronx, New York to Thelma Mosley-Moore and Samuel Moore on February 15, 1966. She completed her education in New York City. Karen spent over 10 years working as a human resource administrator. After building up her savings, she took a gamble on a dream and opened up It’s a Small World After All Child Care Inc. In 2007. The daycare provided Karen with many opportunities. She helped many families and helped the trajectory of many careers.
Karen had many phases in her life, but when asked, she would say her greatest accomplishments were being a successful business woman as well as being an avid and EXTENSIVE traveler. Most important of all was the tremendous bond with her daughter, grandchildren and husband. She also introduced many others to another side of life. She was the best friend to many. From travel tips, to business tips, to relationship tips, Karen has made a huge impact on the lives of others. She embraced everything life has to offer and she lived her life to the max with no regrets. Karen’s life was truly Legendary. Everything she touched turned to Gold!!
Karen leaves to mourn, her husband Richard Holmes, daughter Nicole McNeil, grandson Nicholas Hinson-McNeil, grandson Michael King-McNeil, sisters Sonya Moore and Diane Benton, brother Samuel Moore Jr, and a host of other relatives.Karen was predeceased by her father, Samuel Moore, mother, Thelma Mosley-Moore, brother, Anthony Mosley, brother, Jerome Moore, brother, Thomas Moore, brother, Terrence Moore, brother, Dwayne Moore, sister, Angela Mosley, sister, Edna Jean Snow and sister Melba Moore.
