Lois J. Jopchak

Lois J. Jopchak, 72, of the Tripps Park section of Scranton, passed on Thursday at Allied Skilled Nursing Center. Lois was born in Scranton and was the daughter of the late Russell and Ruth Phillips. Lois attended West Scranton High School and was a stay at home Mom, who raised her two sons as a housewife, homemaker, advisor and guidance giver. Lois was a kind and loving person who would assist friends by cooking meals and cleaning their residence as an act of goodwill and kindness. She will be missed by many. She is survived by her two sons, Phillip Jopchak and Neal Jopchak, both of Scranton. Lois was predeceased by her only grandson, Tyler Jopchak and her sister, Linda Capalongo. Viewing for family and friends will be on Tuesday, 4 to 7 pm. in the Edward J. Chomko Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 262 Railroad Avenue, West Scranton. A Funeral Service and words of endearment will be conducted on Tuesday evening at 6:30 pm in the funeral home. Interment will be on Wednesday, at St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery, Archbald, PA.

Viewing for family and friends will be on Tuesday, 4 to 7 pm. in the Edward J. Chomko Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 262 Railroad Avenue, West Scranton. A Funeral Service and words of endearment will be conducted on Tuesday evening at 6:30 pm in the funeral home. Interment will be on Wednesday, at St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery, Archbald, PA.
