Lori A. King, 47 of Taylor, died Sunday at home after an extended illness. Born in Scranton, she is the daughter of the late Aloysius King and Diane J. Smith. Lori was a graduate of West Scranton High School, of the Protestant Faith and had been employed as an insurance agent in North Carolina until her illness. She is also survived by one sister, Michelle Georgia and husband Patrick, Archbald, three brothers, Brian Eggert and wife Kathleen, Joseph Smith and fiancée Jodi Baranowski, Al King Jr., all of Scranton, and her step-father with whom she resided, David Smith, Taylor, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was also predeceased by her maternal and paternal grandparents. Lori lived a fulfilled life and was always the life of the party. She never passed up a chance to dance and have a good time. Lori will be missed by all and her beautiful smile will live on in our hearts. Lori’s family extends a heartfelt thank you to the CareGivers of America, for the compassionate care given to Lori. A Celebration of Life will held on Wednesday, 5 to 8:00 pm, in the Edward J. Chomko Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 262 Railroad Avenue, West Scranton, with Services at 7:30 pm by the Rev. Terry Ribble, Inurnment will be Thursday at 11 am in Cathedral Cemetery.
