Marion Andrejco Kupcho

Marion Andrejco Kupcho, 98, formerly of Fleetville, passed away peacefully on August 31st at Abington Manor in the care of Hospice.

Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late George and Mary Blasko Andrejco. She was also predeceased by her husband Louis Kupcho.

Educated in Moscow High School.  She was a member of Saint Mary’s Byzantine Catholic Church Scranton, and worked most of her adult life as a seamstress for many clothing factories in the Scranton area.

Marion enjoyed the company of her family and so enjoyed dancing with her long -time friend George.  She was known to all of her family for her delicious baked goods and her talent for crocheting afghans and sharing them with all of her family.

Surviving are two sisters Veronica Stugus, Fleetville and Irene McCabe, Factoryville. She was preceded in death by two brothers George Andrejco and Michael Andrejco, two sisters, Agnes Josephite and Elizabeth Keegan. Three half-sisters, Helen Bigger, Anna Horvat and Margaret Murphy.  She is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Due to the extenuating circumstance the funeral will be private. Burial will be held at the parish cemetery located in Minooka section of Scranton. Memorial contributions can be made to the Fleetville Fire Co PO Box 6, Fleetville, Pa 18420 or please remember Marion by doing a kind deed for someone. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, at 11 am in St. Mary’s Byzantine Catholic Cemetery, Minooka. Arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the Edward J. Chomko Funeral Home & Cremation Services, West Scranton
