Mary Ann Bauman, 86, of Scranton, passed on Saturday, at Regional Hospital of Scranton. She was the widow of Paul E. Bauman Jr, who passed in 2021. Born in Elizabeth NJ, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Alice E. Walsh Mahoney. She graduated St. Paul’s Catholic High School of Scranton and was a member of St. Ann’s Basilica Parish. She is survived by two daughters; Theresa Patchoski and husband, William, Scranton, Catherine Bauman and wife Maddy Garzon, Scranton, three sons; James Bauman and wife Deborah, Old Forge, Frank Bauman, Arizona, Bob Bauman Sr. and wife Lisa, South Carolina, eight grandchildren; William Patchoski Jr., Christopher Patchoski and wife Alicia, Paul Patchoski and wife Maggie, Kathleen Patchoski, Bryan Patchoski, Jenna Bauman, Robert Bauman Jr, and Brad Bauman, three great grandchildren; Jacob, Lucas and Charlotte Patchoski, many nieces, nephews and cousins. Mary Ann’s passions included genealogy, quilting, camping and spending time with her grand/great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Paul E. Bauman Jr., with whom she was wed for 64 years, and son, Paul Bauman III. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, February 29, 2024, at 10 am at St. Ann’s Basilica, 1233 St. Ann Street, Scranton, 18504. Interment will follow in Cathedral Cemetery. Viewing for family and friends will be on Wednesday, February 28th, 2024, 4 to 7 pm at the Edward J. Chomko Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 262 Railroad Avenue, Scranton.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, February 29, 2024, at 10 am at St. Ann’s Basilica, 1233 St. Ann Street, Scranton, 18504.

Interment will follow in Cathedral Cemetery.
