Rachel Keisling Burke

Rachel Keisling Burke passed away, at the age of 56 on June 23, 2025, surrounded by her family after a lengthy illness. She is the daughter of the late Ralph Keisling and Alice Keisling of Clarks Summit. Rachel was a 1987 graduate of Abington Heights High School and attended Marywood University.
Before her illness, Rachel was employed with the ARC of Scranton where she took pride in being a caregiver to many individuals over the years. Rachel was a friendly, kind, and generous soul who would do anything to help anyone who needed her – no questions asked. She never allowed her illness to get the best of her, always radiating a positive attitude and unique sense of humor. To know Rachel truly was to love her, and she will be dearly missed by all. She leaves behind a brother Matthew (Brooke), Clarks Summit, sister Sarah (Andy) Clarks Summit,  her nieces, Linley, Paige, & Gabrielle, and her nephew Aiden who were her absolute favorites and she bragged about them daily. Her best friend Jim Kaub, who was always up for card games and shopping trips and supported her through thick and thin. She was preceded in death by her husband Frank.
Her family would like to thank the nursing and support staff at Dunmore Health Care Center, the wound care staff at Regional Hospital, and the hospice staff of Compassion Care for the treatment and support she received throughout the final stages of her illness. It was a long road, but she is finally at peace. Arrangements under the care and direction of the Edward J. Chomko Funeral Home & Cremation Services, West Scranton.
