Shirley Jean Peters

Shirley Jean Peters, 65 of Taylor, passed on Thursday at Geisinger/CMC. Born in Scranton, she is the daughter of the late Teddy and Janet Ross. She was a high school graduate of the Scranton School District and employed as  a nursing caretaker.

She is survived by her husband Frederick Peters, sons; Paul Ross and wife Danielle, Clarks Summit, Teddy Ross and wife Amanda, MO, Ryan Ross and wife Jennifer, Dickson City, daughter, Nicole Parry, Moscow,  2 stepchildren; Alexa and Jake Peters, Taylor, 14 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, brother; Paul Ross, Scranton. She was predeceased by a son; Preston Ross, sisters; Pam Vorozilchak and Donna Engleman.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday 4 to 6:30 pm in the Edward J. Chomko Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 262 Railroad Avenue, West Scranton. A Blessing Service will be officiated at 6:30 pm by Fr. Joseph Kakareka
