William J. Lesek Jr., aka Chuck, 76 of the Keyser Valley section of West Scranton, passed away suddenly on Tuesday at Geisinger CMC. His wife, Jean Novak Lesek of 56 years was at his side.  Born in Scranton, he was the son of the late William J. Lesek Sr. and Helen Zadolnny Lesek. He was a graduate of West Scranton High School and the Pennsylvania State University where he obtained his degree in Electronics. Prior to retiring, he was employed by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation for 35 years as the Assistant District Bridge Engineer.  Bill enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, and riding his Harley Davidson with his sons. He was an avid Penn State football fan and especially loved wintering in Arizona.

Bill is survived by his wife Jean, their children, William Lesek III and his wife Joanne, of Arizona and Jeffrey C. Lesek of Florida, a granddaughter, Jami Lesek of Florida, and his sister JoAnn Seeger-Maroldo and her husband Stephen of Ambler, PA along with and several nieces and nephews.  Bill and Jean were known as the oldest living couple on their street.  Chuck loved being around people and his favorite saying “Just One More” will be missed my many.
