A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10 am in St. Paul of the Cross Parish at Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary Church, South Scranton, by the Rev. Fr. Scott P. Sterowski, Pastor. Interment will be private in Cathedral Cemetery. Viewing for family and friends will be on Sunday, 4 to 7 pm in the Edward J. Chomko Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 262 Railroad Avenue, West Scranton.

Ann M. Klodnicki, 83, of Scranton, died Wednesday evening at the VNA Hospice Unit at Geisinger/CMC. She was the widow of Edward C. Klodnicki, to whom she had been married to for 59 years. Born in Dupont, she was the youngest of 13 children of the late John and Susan Stupak. A graduate of Dupont High School, Ann was a former member of SS Peter & Paul Roman Catholic Church, West Scranton and attended St. Paul of the Cross Parish, South Scranton. She was a member of SS Peter & Paul’s Confraternity of Christian Mothers and of the St. Catherine’s Manor Association. Ann was a loving wife, mom, grammy and a devout Catholic who attended St. Ann’s Novena since early childhood. Ann found joy in other people’s happiness and enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing and making crafts for others. As her mobility became more difficult, she mastered her iPad to keep in touch with her family and her faith. She is survived by one daughter, Ann Marie Molitoris and husband Thomas, Scranton, three sons, Edward Klodnicki and wife Jane, Durham, NC, Michael Klodnicki and wife Tara, Marietta, GA, Joseph Klodnicki and wife Kathleen, Danville, eight grandchildren, Robert, Michael, Laura and Kurtis Klodnicki, Drea Molitoris, Lisa Parker and husband Andrew, Susie Piggot and husband Cleveland, Susanna Miller and husband Jon, one great granddaughter, Cordelia Ann Miller, one sister, Dorothy Wyso, one brother, Edward Stupak  nieces, nephews and cousins. Interment will be private in Cathedral Cemetery. Viewing for family and friends will be on Sunday, 4 to 7 pm in the Edward J. Chomko Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 262 Railroad Avenue, West Scranton.
