Ceceil P. Harrison, 72 of Moosic, passed on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital under the care of Compassionate Care Hospice. He husband of 30 years is John P. “Jack” Harrison. Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Sylvester and Mary Cybroski. Ceil was a 1967 graduate of the first graduating class from Riverside High School and was a graduate of Empire School of Beauty. She worked as a beautician for more than 30 years and then retired from Bulldog Cleaning Company. She is survived by her husband, John, one son, Gregg Ruthkosky and companion Nicole, Old Forge, a step son, Sidney Harrison and wife Jessica, South Canaan, three grandsons, Gregory Ruthkosky, Linden Harrison, Brooks Harrison and one sister, Trish Selwocki and husband Kenneth, Moosic, one niece, Amy Selwocki, NYC. She was predeceased by one son, Robert Ruthkosky and one grandson, Jacob Ruthkosky. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, 4 to 6:30 pm with a Panakhyda Service to be held at 6:30 pm in the Edward J. Chomko Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 262 Railroad Avenue, West Scranton, officiated by the Rev. Fr. Myron Myronyuk. Inurnment will be private in St. Vladimir Ukrainian Greek Catholic Cemetery, Minooka.
