Interment will follow in Cathedral Cemetery, West Scranton

Madeline “Madge” Hudacko, 93, of Scranton, passed Sunday at Green Ridge Health Care Center. Her husband of 50 years, Arthur Hudacko passed in 2003. Born in Scranton, Madge was the daughter of the late Harry and Madeline Rosencrans. Madge was a graduate of West Scranton High School, retired from Scranton Lace Works and became a CNA at Holy Family Residence where she and her husband Arthur resided. Madge and Arthur did many years of volunteer work at Holy Family to include assisting the Sisters in many events and driving them where they needed to go, locally and long distance.

She is survived by her son in law, Danny Brown who was like a son to Madge, and her Godson, David Drouse, several grandchildren, several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Madge was predeceased by her husband Arthur, their daughters, Mary Brown and Ann Hudacko, sons, Thomas, Joseph and Jerome Hudacko.

Services will be officiated on Thursday by the Rev. Fr. James Paisley at 10 am, in the Edward J. Chomko Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 262 Railroad Avenue, West Scranton. Visitation will begin at 9 am, until time of Services. Interment will follow in Cathedral Cemetery, West Scranton
