Marine Corps League honors will be at 5 pm Wednesday

Blessing Services will be held on Thursday at 10 am in the funeral home, officiated by Deacon Patrick Massino.

Interment will follow at Cathedral Cemetery with full military Honors.

Peter A. Hallock, 72, of West Scranton, passed on Sunday, March 27, 2022, at Hospice of The Sacred Heart, Dunmore. His wife of 48 years is Audrey Kakareka Hallock. Born in Scranton, he was the son of the late Harry and Frances Hallock. Peter was a 1968 graduate of West Scranton High School, a member of St. Ann’s Parish, American Legion Post 920 and had been employed at the former Chamberlin, Anemostat and retired as the assistant meat manager and buyer at Affiliated Food Services. Peter served with the United States Marine Corps, serving as a Corporal during the Vietnam War.

He is survived by his wife Audrey, one son, Joseph Hallock and fiancée Lindsey Evans, Hanover, MD, one daughter Jennifer, two grandchildren; Kyra Warner and husband JD, Madison Township, Kevin Dailey and wife Anna, Jim Thorpe, four brothers; Frank Hallock and wife Mary Ann, Jermyn, Harry Hallock Jr., Texas, Walter Hallock, Florida, David Hallock, Ohio, and his canine grand dogs; Stella and Bailey. He was predeceased by his parents and a sister, Edna Bebber. Viewing for family and friends will be on Wednesday, 5 to 7 pm in the Edward J. Chomko Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 262 Railroad Avenue, West Scranton. Marine Corps League honors will be at 5 pm Wednesday in the funeral home. Blessing Services will be held Thursday at 10 am, officiated by Deacon Patrick Massino. Interment will follow at Cathedral Cemetery with full military Honors.
