Robert William Bell Sr, 75 a resident of Throop, passed away peacefully at the home of his daughter where he resided. Born in Dunmore, he was the son of the late John & Ann Marie Battaglia-Bell. He was a veteran of the US Navy and member of the American Legion Post 869 of Archbald. Before retirement he was a commercial truck driver and security guard. He was an avid NASCAR fan, and his love for racing & old cars was his passion second to spending time with his children & grandchildren. He loved building model cars.

He was proceeded in death by his brother Jimmy, brother, Jack, sister-in-law Michelle Bell, daughter-in-law Terri Bell & son-in-law Bruce Lynch. He is survived by his son Robert Bell Jr. & Fiancé Jennifer, Mayfield. Daughter Melissa Kolarik & husband John, New York. Daughter Mary Bell-Lynch, Jessup. Daughter Angie Mallick & husband Mike, Throop, which whom he resided. Son John Bell & wife Jamie, Carbondale. Son Robert Bell & wife Sherry, Jermyn. Son Mark Bell & wife Nerada, NY. Daughter Danielle Strupcewski & husband John, Olyphant. Daughter Estavon Lowe, Dickson City. Sister Ann Grimes & husband Ray, SC. Sister-in-law Debbie Bell, NC. Sister-in-law Mary Anne Bell, SC. Sister Cindy Pilarz & husband Darrin, Hamlin, Brother Frank Bell, Dickson City. Several nieces, nephews, grandchildren & great grandchildren. Robert also wanted to make sure we acknowledged & thanked Allied Hospice, but especially “Dr.Dan” Reilly, his nurse & Angela Hetrick, his CNA, who became his friend and last wedding date.
