Ronald P. “Rocky” Petroziello Sr, 69, of the Keyser Valley section of Scranton, passed Sunday morning after a sudden illness. Born in Pittston, he was the son of the late Vincent M. Sr. and Eleanor Petroziello. Rocky was a graduate or west Scranton High School, was of the Catholic Faith and was an over the road truck driver for Cadden Moving and Storage and retired from Bolus Freight Systems of Scranton.

He is survived by his wife Diana Young Petroziello, his children; Steven Bernardi and husband Randy, Robert Petroziello, Thomas Petroziello and wife Courtney, Robin Stratz and husband Cameron, siblings; Alfonso Petroziello and wife Cheryl, David Petroziello and wife Michele, Joan Perry, Jewel Petroziello, Dolores Clark, Ann Marie Willis, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and stepson Jerry Ellifritz, Alabama.

He was predeceased by his first wife and mother of their children, Carol Petroziello (2008), children; Ronald P. Petroziello Jr., Jason Petroziello. Donna Petroziello, Theresa Ann Petroziello, and siblings; Joseph Petroziello, Vincent M. Petroziello Jr., Theresa Petroziello Read.

Services officiated by the Rev. Fr. Richard Fox will be held on Monday, December 19 at 10 am in the Edward J. Chomko Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 262 Railroad Avenue, West Scranton. Viewing for family and friends will be on Friday, December 16, 5 to 8 pm in the funeral home.
