Barbara A. Srebro, 66, of Archbald, passed Monday at home after an extended illness. Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Theresa Lisko. Educated in West Scranton High School, she was of the Catholic Faith, She was adored as an aunt and by everyone she encountered. She was only a phone call away and would do anything to help in any way she could. She had a love for pampering herself and others, especially her granddaughter Kasey by shopping and getting beautiful manicures, spending time in the sunshine on the boardwalk, and specifically large cups of ice. Her memory will always live on in everything we see and do.
She is survived by one daughter, Jessica Jenkins, Williamsport, one granddaughter Kasey, one sister, Kathleen Srebro and husband John Wagner, and two nieces, Stephanie and Sarah Srebro, and one great nephew Colton White, Scranton, one brother, John Lisko and wife Donna, and two nephews and one niece, John Jr, Brian and Erin Lisko, Waynesboro. She was predeceased by her parents and one daughter, Christina, in 1990. There are no calling hours. Private services and interment will be held in Cathedral Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Edward J. Chomko Funeral Home & Cremation Services, West Scranton.
