Linda Duffy

Linda L. Duffy, 71, of West Scranton, passed at home on Tuesday, March 22, 2022, after a long illness. Her husband of 51 years is Michael “Mike” P. Duffy Jr. Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Lorraine Hickey Hughes. Linda was a 1969 graduate of West Scranton High School, was a member of the former St. John the Baptist Church, West Scranton and is a member of St. Patrick’s Parish and retired from the Scranton School District as a Teachers Aid. She is survived by her husband, Mike, two sons; Michael P. Duffy III, Scranton, Shawn M. Duffy, Florida and one granddaughter; Kayla Marie Duffy. She was preceded in death by two brothers; Ernest and John Hughes.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, at 10 am by the Rev. Richard Fox, in St. Patrick’s Church, 1403 Jackson Street, West Scranton. Interment will be private. Arrangements are under the direction and care of the Edward J. Chomko Funeral Home & Cremation Services, West Scranton.
