Brianna E. Blasko, 32, Kissimmee Florida, formerly of Scranton passed away February 3, 2023, at Advent Healthcare Hospital in Altamont Springs Florida after a long illness. Brianna was born on May 9, 1990. She was the daughter of Alfred S. Blasko Jr. and Kim Blasko. Brianna was a 2008 graduate of West Scranton High School and before her illness was employed in retail sales. Brianna is survived by her mother and father Alfred S. Jr. and Kim Blasko, her companion Edward Pryor, all of Kissimmee Florida, numerous nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her brother David, her maternal grandparents, Edward and Louise Yarima and paternal grandparents, Alfred and Delores Blasko Sr. Brianna was raised catholic and received the sacraments through St. Peter and Paul’s church in West Scranton. Brianna was a very compassionate and caring soul who had a special bond with every animal she came in contact with. She especially was fond of her cat “Thumbsy” who she and Ed adopted as a kitten. The family of Brianna would like to thank the staff of Advent Healthcare Hospitals and Specialty Select Care Hospital for their compassionate and comfortable care offered to Brianna during her illness.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 1, from 10 to 12 noon with a Blessing Service at 12 noon, officiated by the Rev. Fr. Richard Fox, in the Edward J. Chomko Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 262 Railroad Avenue, West Scranton
