Eugene Michael Siminavich Sr.

Eugene Michael Siminavich Sr., 70, passed away on June 17, 2024. Born in Scranton, PA to the late Konstant J. Siminavich and Mary Lefchak Siminavich. He was a 1972 graduate of West Scranton High School and worked for Haddon Craftsmen. Eugene will always be remembered as a great storyteller and outdoors man. He was known as “Cumma” or “The Mountain Man” (or in later years Cumma with a “K”). He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and spending time with his children, and faithful dog Bridger. When he wasn’t outdoors you could find him watching a Western, Clint Eastwood or John Wayne of course, or reading his favorite magazine, The Star Paper. He is survived by the mother of his children Patricia Valenta Monelli and their four children; Eugene Michael Siminavich Jr. and wife Nicole, Jessica Siminavich Volkov and companion Rob Phillips, Richard Siminavich and Duane Siminavich and companion Heather, all of West Scranton, two granddaughters, Isabella and Savannah, and faithful companion, Bridger. He was predeceased by his sister, Mary Jane Siminavich. One day you are going to hug your last hug, kiss your last kiss, and hear someone’s voice for the last time. Be sure to tell those you love, that you love them, and spend time with them. Thankfully, we were able to do so with our father.
