William R. Clement, 82, passed away on Monday, April 28 at Allied Hospice Center, in Scranton, surrounded by his family. His wife of 41 years is Ann Viola Clement. Born in Dunmore, he was the son of the late Alaxander and Helen Coolican Clement and was a Dunmore High School Graduate and later went on to work as an Installer for BMC Furniture from where he retired.
William is survived by niece and caretaker Karen McLaughlin, Scranton, nephew, Jerry McDonough, great nieces; Stephanie Gursky, Danielle McAfee, great nephew, Michael McLaughlin one daughter and several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
William was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Jean McDonough
Visitation for family and friends will be on Thursday, 4 to 7 pm in the Edward J. Chomko Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 262 Railroad Avenue, West Scranton. Interment will be private at St. Mary of Mount Carmel Cemetery, O’Neill Hwy, Dunmore. The family wishes to thank the ER staff at Geisinger/CMC and the staff at Allied Hospice Center for the special care given to William.
