Elizabeth J. Fezuk, 69, of Scranton, died Friday evening the Commonwealth Hospice Unit at Regional Hospital of Scranton. She was the wife of the late Frank Fezuk who died in 2010. Born in Scranton she was the daughter of the late George & Anna Leonard Pifcho. She was a graduate of Dunmore High School and the American Beauty School. Prior to her retirement she worked as a nurse’s aide. She was a member of Holy Rosary Church. Elizabeth loved bingo, crocheting, gardening, and trips to the casino. Surviving are 2 sons Frank and wife Heather of Scranton, and Dave and wife Alice al of Scranton. 3 daughters, Melissa Checko and husband Carl of Chinchilla, Mary Lynn Fezuk and companion Pete Farrell of Scranton, Beverly Free of Scranton, 5 sisters, Helen Danko, Mary Kay Schultz, Ann Marie Yurchak, Barbra McAllister, and Rose Ann Liberty. 3 brothers, Ken Prevish, George Pifcho, and Bobby Pifcho. 10 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Robert and a bother Jack Prevish. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 4 to 7 PM at the Edward J. Chomko Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 262 Railroad Ave, West Scranton. Funeral service and inurnment will be private.
