Tara M. Pifcho Evans passed away Sunday, September 13. She is the daughter of Robert and Sally Pifcho of Scranton and the mother of Jamie Spindler, Aidan Spindler and Ava M. Evans who were the absolute loves of her life. Born in Scranton, Tara was a graduate of Scranton High School and Fortis Institute where she received her legal secretary certification. She was of the Catholic Faith and worked at Abington Manor as a CNA. Tara was a beautiful soul who enjoyed going to the beach, loved her job and genuinely cared for people. She cherished cooking meals with her boys, Jamie and Aidan. Tara had a heart for music and enjoyed exploring the different genres of music with Aidan. She will be missed by all of her family, friends, and loved ones. Tara is also survived by one brother, Robert Pifcho, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her brother, Joseph M. Pifcho; maternal grandparents; Ernest and Marie Fisher, paternal grandparents, George and Anna Pifcho, several aunts and uncles. Viewing for family and friends will be on Friday in the Edward J. Chomko Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 262 Railroad Avenue, West Scranton, 4 to 6:45 pm with services at 6:45 by the Rev. Fr. Richard Fox. Interment will be private. Those attending service are asked to wear a mask, practice social distancing, and limit physical contact.
