Ann Senich, 98, passed on Tuesday at the Green Ridge Care Center, Scranton. Her husband was George Senich, who died in 2016. Born in Hazleton, she was the daughter of the late John and Ann Margitich. Ann was a graduate of Scranton Technical High School and a member of St. Nicholas Orthodox Church. She is survived by her three children, Robert J. Senich and wife Vickie, Virginia Beach, Diane McCool, Throop, Carol Laboranti and husband Henry, Olyphant, three grandchildren, four great grandchildren and one brother, Emil Margine, Allentown. She was predeceased by seven siblings. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday at 11 am by the Rev. Alexi Kaluzhny in St. Nicholas Orthodox Church, 505 Jefferson Ave., Scranton. Masks and social distancing are required. Interment will follow in Dunmore Cemetery. Ann’s family thanks the nurses and staff at the Green Ridge Nursing Center for the compassionate care and concerns given to Ann and her family, and to her compassionate caregivers, Marion and Jason. Arrangements have been entrusted to the direction and care of the Edward J. Chomko Funeral Home & Cremation Services, West Scranton.
