Barbara A. Martini, 77, of South Scranton, died Friday, at Allied Skilled Nursing. She was the widow of Frank A. Martini, who died June 2, 1995. Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Mary Lepisko Blasko. A graduate of South Scranton Catholic High School, Barbara retired as a Fiscal Assistant at Scranton Counseling Center and was a member of St. Paul of the Cross Parish. She is survived by two daughters, Karen Martini, Raleigh, NC, Kathy McKeel and husband Chuck, Taylor, two grandchildren, Karla and Kyle McKeel, two great grandchildren, William and Madyson, sisters, Rosemarie Guzior and husband John, Cupertino, CA and Nancy Blasko, Alexandria, VA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, in Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary Church, 1217 Prospect Avenue, Scranton at 1 pm. Inurnment will be private in the Italian-American Cemetery, Minooka. Barbara’s family would like to thank the staff at Geisinger/CMC and Allied Skilled Nursing, 2 North, for the compassionate care given to Barbara and her family. As per Barbara’s wishes, there is no viewing. Arrangements under the care of the Edward J. Chomko Funeral Home & Cremation Services, West Scranton.
