Ceil Ann Stevens, 60, of South Scranton, passed on Monday, April 11, 2022, at Geisinger Community Medical Center. Her husband is David Stevens. Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Celia Piccotti Laurynas and daughter of late Lawrence J. Laurynas and Karen Laurynas, Carbondale. Ceil Ann was educated in Scranton Schools and a former member of St Francis of Assisi Church and is a member of St. Ann’s Basilica Parish. She worked for Supermarket Services Security Department, and Aramark Food Service in the Scranton School District.
She is survived by her husband David, daughter; Tanya Strasburger and husband Branden, Duryea, Son; David Stevens and companion, Victoria Crisci, Scranton, a sister MarieElena Neyman and husband Joseph, Scranton, two grandchildren; Braelyn and Cayden Strasburger, nephew and Godson, Joseph Neyman. She was predeceased in death by her granddaughter, Aleah Marie Strasburger.
A Celebration of Life for Ceil Ann will be held on Tuesday, April 19, in the Edward J. Chomko Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 262 Railroad Avenue, West Scranton. Visitation for family and friends will be 4 to 6:30, with Services at 6:30 pm by the Very Rev. Richard Burke, C.P. Interment will be private.
