Charles “Chuck” Miller

Charles D. “Chuck” Miller, of North Scranton, died Tuesday. His wife of 44 years is Leanne Booth Miller. Born in Scranton, he was the son of the late Charles J. and Lucille Jenkins Miller. Chuck was a 1969 graduate of Scranton Technical High School, was an Army Veteran having served as a Sgt. E-5 in Germany and was employed for over 38 years for the Scranton DPW as a CDL driver. He is also survived by three sons, Christopher and wife Stacy, Scranton, Ryan, Scranton, Cody, Scranton, eight grandchildren, Alyssa, Charles, Brett, Benjamin, Hannah, Ryan, and Daniel Miller, Angelina Zanghi, daughter in-law Angel Zanghi-Miller, Old Forge, two brothers, Ronald Miller and wife Mary Karen, Scranton, Scott Miller and wife Susan, Peckville, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one son, Charles “Chip” Miller and one sister, Marilyn Jones. A Celebration of Chuck’s life will be held in the Edward J. Chomko Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 262 Railroad Avenue, West Scranton on Sunday, 5 to 7 pm. Services will be officiated at 7 pm by the Rev. Arthur Davis. Military Honors will be performed on Monday at 12 noon at the Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are preferred for the American Cancer Society, 712 South Keyser Avenue, Taylor, PA 18517
