Christopher Joseph Osborne, 53, of East Mountain, passed on Saturday, Jan. 29, at home after an extended illness with his family at his side. His wife of 33 years is Dorothy Regan Osborne.
Born in Scranton, he was the son of the late Thomas and Anne Manley Osborne. Along with his wife Dorothy, he is survived by three sons, Christopher J. Osborne Jr. and fiancée, Renee Abda; Corey Osborne and Connor Osborne, all of Scranton; one daughter, Kelsey Osborne, California; five sisters, Patricia Hannon and husband, Joseph, Scranton; Aggie Holland and husband, Tim Holland, Moosic; Cathy Harrington and husband, Jack, Scranton; Jane Osborne and companion, Kevin Liuzzo, Scranton; four brothers, Thomas Osborne and wife, Mary Jean, Allentown; Terry Osborne and wife, Debbie, Moosic; Timothy Osborne and wife, Camille, Yardley, Pa.; and Robert Osborne, Scranton; sisters-in-law, Phylis Regan, Frances Regan; Maria Duffy and husband, Donald; Barbara McDonald and husband, Joseph; Janet Coleman and husband, William, all of Clarks Summit; brothers-in-law, John Regan and wife, Linda, Union Dale; Joseph Geiger, Malvern, Pa.; and Dave Eimers, Mayfield.
Along with his parents, Chris was predeceased by his sister, Nancy Eimers; and sister-in-law, Kelly Geiger.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 a.m. in Nativity of Our Lord Church, St. John Neumann Parish, 633 Orchard St., South Scranton, 18505, by Monsignor Joseph G. Quinn, pastor. Interment will be private.
Viewing for family and friends will be Tuesday, 4 to 7 p.m., at Nativity of Our Lord Church, 633 Orchard St., Scranton, PA 18505. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Christopher’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. The family kindly requests that masks be worn for the visitation and the Mass.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Edward J. Chomko Funeral Home & Cremation Services, West Scranton.

Interment will be private.

The family kindly requests that masks be worn for the visitation and the Mass
