Connie Doyle, 71, of Scranton, passed away at the Regional Hospital of Scranton on March 6, 2024. Connie was an avid reader, a loving wife, mother, and friend. Her cheerful smile and presence will be greatly missed.
Born on January 3, 1953, she was the daughter of the late David R. Evarts and late Katherine (Seeley) Evarts.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years Doug Doyle, 5 children; Kathy Caster, Edward Doyle, Renee Doyle, John Doyle and Danny Doyle, 8 grandchildren; Phil, Colleen, Brandy, Collin, Kiley, Kaylee, Karli, and Kody, brothers; George Evarts, Peter (AnnMarie), Evarts, Daniel Evarts, and Tim (Carla) Evarts, sisters; Alberta Chapman and Betsy Candalieri and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brothers; Edward C. Evarts and Richard D. Evarts, sister; Joy Faith Evarts and grandchild Adam Caster. A burial service will be held at a later date at the convenience of her family. Cremation Care was entrusted to the Edward J. Chomko Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
