Doris Romancho, 89, of Clarks Summit, passed, Thursday, February 22 at her winter home in Ruskin, Florida. Her husband of 64 years, Harry Romancho passed in 2020. Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Julia Solanik Hafner. Doris was a graduate of the former Scranton Central High School, was employed in the local garment industry and is a member of St. Vladimir Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church. Doris was very active in the St. Vladimir Church community, attending Liturgies and as a volunteer for many of the church fund raisers. Doris and Harry were snowbirds for 26 years to their home in Florida. She is survived by their son, Greg Romancho and their grandson, Matthew Romancho of Throop, as well as many nieces and nephews. Doris was predeceased by her parents, husband, Harry, two sisters, Arlene Campbell and Marion Sadowski and one brother, Joseph Hafner. A Funeral Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Saturday, March 2, at 9:30 am, by the Rev. Fr. Myron Myronyuk, Pastor, at St. Vladimir Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, 430 N. 7th Avenue, Scranton, 18503.
