Edward J. Lippiett

Edward J. Lippiett, forever 39 ( 74) retired US Air Force formally of Scranton Pennsylvania died August 22 , 2024 in the Philippines. He is survived by his wife JunLeth Lippiett of the Philippines.
Born in Scranton, Pennsylvania on November 24, 1949 son of the late Ivor and Louella Hill Lippiett. He was a graduate of Scranton Technical High School and enlisted in the Air Force in 1969. He was stationed all over the world and did several tours in the Vietnam war he finally retired after 20 years. Edward was a member of the Court Street United Methodist Church and was a lay speaker. Before he died, he finally got to live his dream of living in the Philippines. He is survived by his two daughters Jaymie Lynn Welch and her husband, Brian, Arkansas, and Riva Lippiett, Scranton, and her partner, Keeshawn Mcneill and also his two  sons Jayson  Lippiett, Las Vegas, and Darren Lippiett, Scranton, and he is also survived by two stepchildren Ava and Noah, Philippines and  his grandchildren, niece, and nephews. He was also proceeded in death by his brother Dennis Lippiett. Arrangements are under the care and direction of The Edward J. Chomko Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 262 Railroad Avenue, West Scranton.
Military Honors will start Saturday May 24th promptly at 11:00am in the South parking lot of the funeral home.
