Emma Gayle Feduik, 87, Exeter, and formerly of Blue Shutters Road, Elmhurst, died Tuesday in Regional Hospital of Scranton E/R. Her husband is Frank R. Feduik, and the couple would have celebrated their 68th wedding anniversary on August 3. Born in Havana, Arkansas, she was the daughter of the late William and Maude Spivey Jestice. Gayle was the Valedictorian of Havana High School, Arkansas. She attended for two years, the School of Nursing at Charity Hospital, New Orleans where she met her husband Frank who was on shore leave from the Navy. Gayle was a member of St. Michael’s Ukrainian Orthodox Church, West Scranton and the St. Mary’s Sisterhood at St Michael’s Church. She is also survived by one son, Robert Feduik and wife Diane, Baldwinsville, NY, two daughters, Barbara Barbuti and husband Michael, Hazleton, Linda Rotondi and husband Dr. Kenneth, Amherst, Mass., four grandchildren, Kristina Feduik, Michael III and Tiffany Barbuti and Elise Rotondi, four great grandchildren, Marc, Chloe, Michael George and Olivia. She was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother. Funeral Services will be Monday at 9:30 am in the Edward J. Chomko Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 262 Railroad Avenue, West Scranton, celebrated by the Very Rev. Nestor S. Kowal, Pastor, St. Michael’s Ukrainian Orthodox Church, West Scranton. Interment will follow in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Taylor. Visitation will be on Sunday, 4 to 7 pm., in the Edward J. Chomko Funeral Home, 262 Railroad Avenue, Scranton, PA 18505. In Gayle’s memory, donations can be made in Gayle’s name to, St. Mary’s Sisterhood, Care Of: St. Michael’s Church, 540 North Main Avenue, Scranton, PA 18504.
