Frances M. Rasieleski, 77, of Scranton, passed away Monday, at Geisinger CMC. Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Dulay Bendzel. She was a member of the former Holy Cross Church in Bellevue and is a member of St. Patrick’s Parish, West Scranton. Frances was a graduate of Scranton Technical High School and worked as a supervisor for Specialty Records until her retirement. Frances always enjoyed listening to various genres of music and had dance moves that would put the younger crowd to shame. She was an avid bowler, proudly earning numerous awards. She was passionate about sewing and made dozens of intricate costumes for her grandchildren. Frances enjoyed the company of family and friends, vacationing and was a member of the Zonta Club. She is survived by one son, Mark Rasieleski, Taylor, two daughters, Lori Ann Bowen, Scranton, Lynn Mulherin-Rutsky, Archbald, five grandchildren, Angel O’Hara, Jordan Bowen, Samantha Mulherin, Dylan Rutsky, Tyler Rutsky and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a grandson, baby Jimmy Mulherin. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10 am in St. Patrick’s Church, 1403 Jackson St, Scranton. Interment will follow at St. John the Baptist Slovak Cemetery, Exeter. Viewing for family and friends will be on Thursday, 5 to 8 pm in the Edward J. Chomko Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 262 Railroad Avenue, West Scranton.
