John A. Fedorchak, 69, of North Scranton, died Wednesday, after being stricken ill at home. His wife of 42 years is Ann Grizzanti Fedorchak. Born in Wyoming, Luzerne County, he was the son of the late John and Helen Sholtis Fedorchak. John was a 1965 graduate of Wyoming Area High School, a member of Mary, Mother of God Parish, Scranton, and had been employed by Superior Fireproof Door and Sash and retired as a Corrections Officer at the Dallas Corrections Facility. He leaves behind one daughter, Diane Reppert, Easton, one brother, Joseph Fedorchak and wife Margaret, Orlando, FL. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Monday at Holy Rosary Church, Mary, Mother of God Parish, North Scranton by the Rev. Fr. Cyril Edwards, Pastor. Interment was in Cathedral Cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of the Edward J. Chomko Funeral Home & Cremation Services, West Scranton.
