Kenneth Keib Sr.

Kenneth David Keib, 86 of North Scranton, passed Saturday at home with his family at his side. His wife is Mary Lois Naughton Keib. Born in Scranton he was the son of the late George E. and Anna Heinz Keib. Kenneth was a graduate of Scranton Technical High School and received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Susquehanna University. He was a Navy veteran having served as a RM2 abord the aircraft carrier USS Antietam. Ken was a member of the Hickory Street Presbyterian Church and attended services regularly.

Along with his wife he is survived by one son, Kenneth D. Keib II, Scranton, one daughter, Jamie Skaluba and husband Edward Ash, VA, one grandson, Connor Ash and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, and five siblings, Gladys Keib, Ethel Goetz, Carl, Edward and William Keib.

Viewing for family and friends will be on Tuesday, 3 to 6 pm in the Edward J. Chomko Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 262 Railroad Avenue, West Scranton, with Church services at 10 am on Wednesday in the Hickory Street Presbyterian Church, 435 Hickory Street, South Scranton, officiated by Pastor David Brague. Interment will be in Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst, with United States Navy Honors as well as Honors accorded by the Dickson City Veterans Honor Guard.

Viewing for family and friends will be on Tuesday, 3 to 6 pm

Church services at 10 am on Wednesday in the Hickory Street Presbyterian Church, 435 Hickory Street, South Scranton, officiated by Pastor David Brague.

Interment will be in Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst, with United States Navy Honors as well as Honors accorded by the Dickson City Veterans Honor Guard.
