Kenneth Rohland

Kenneth M. Rohland, 82, of West Scranton, passed on Saturday morning at Scranton Regional Hospital. Ken was the widow to his first wife, Theresa Rohland and his second wife, Elizabeth “Betty” Rohland. Born in Detroit, Michigan, son to the late Joseph and Florence Timlin. A graduate of West Scranton High School, he was a veteran of the United States Navy, a former employee to Big Valley Fastener and retiree of Proctor and Gamble. Ken’s life was filled with love for his family, Penn State Football and pinochle. He was kind, generous and loved dearly and will be missed greatly.

He is survived by his golden child, Norman Fassett Jr. and wife Stephanie. Children; Kenny Joe Rohland and Kimberly Royce, stepsons; Robert and Sean Carey, Grandchildren; Shannon Talarico and husband Jason, Jamie Stavish and husband Dan, Theresa Sherman and husband James, Olivia Rohland and Alexa Carey, 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by father; Peter Rohland

Calling hours will be on Wednesday from 4 to 7 PM. Services will be held on Thursday, at 10 am, Officiated by Pastor Elliott Cooke of the Jackson Street Baptist Church, West Scranton, in the Edward J. Chomko Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 262 Railroad Avenue, West Scranton. Interment with Military Honors by the Dickson City Veterans Honor Guard will follow at Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst Twp.

Burial Date: December 1, 2022

Calling hours will be on Wednesday from 4 to 7 PM.

Services will be held on Thursday, at 10 am, Officiated by Pastor Elliott Cooke of the Jackson Street Baptist Church, West Scranton in the Funeral Home.

Interment with Military Honors by the Dickson City Veterans Honor Guard will follow at Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst Twp.
