Lena Agnes Savani Schultz, 91, of Mount Cobb passed away peacefully on Wednesday November 22, 2023. Born in Jessup on May 11, 1932. She was the daughter of the late Ferdinand and Anna Savani. Lena retired from McKinney Corporation and continued as a caregiver. A strong, kind, hard working woman, who raised five children on her own. Lena enjoyed spending time with family, vacations and the casino. Lena is survived by her children, Robert Schultz and wife Linda, Scranton, Sharon Knight and husband Lester, Mt. Cobb, Joyce Kujawski and husband Walter, Scranton, Janice Bertocki and husband John, Florida. Also surviving are siblings Antoinette Federovitch, New Jersey, Shirley Wombacker, Mt. Cobb, Michael Savani, Florida, Mary Helen Miles and Joann Link, Dickson City and Lillian Pasco who was like a daughter to Lena. She was a beloved aunt, great-aunt, great-great aunt, grandmother to fifteen grandchildren and twenty-four great grandchildren. Lena was preceded in death by her son Steven Schultz. All will miss Lena, to know her was to love her. A celebration of life will be held on Friday December 22, 2023 from 10 until time of service. A blessing service will be held at 1130 am in the Edward J. Chomko Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 262 Railroad Ave. , West Scranton.
