M. Juleann Sillner, 80, of Roaring Brook Township, died Tuesday, after being stricken ill at home. Her husband of 47 years, Ralph P. Sillner, died October 20, 2003. Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Julia Cosminski Karabin. A 1952 graduate of Dunmore High School, she was a homemaker who dedicated her married life to her husband and children and was a member of St Catherine of Siena Church, Moscow. She is survived by two daughters, Michalene Janczak and husband John, Eynon, Sandra Pickett and husband Toby, Moosic, one grandson, Craig Janczak, two brothers, Edward and wife Dianne Karabin, Scranton, Raymond and wife Judy Karabin, LaPlata, MD, one sister, Priscilla Tilberry, Scranton, one niece, several nephews and cousins. A Blessing Service will be held on Saturday at 10 am in the Edward J. Chomko Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 262 Railroad Avenue, West Scranton, to be officiated by the Rev. Robert Simon. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Byzantine Catholic Cemetery, South Scranton. Viewing for family and friends will be on Friday, 5 to 8 pm.
