Mae C. Savage, 83 of South Abington Township, passed on Tuesday evening at home, surrounded by her loving family. Her loving husband of 59 years is Raymond P. Savage. Born in Shamokin, PA, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Catherine Willis Gotaskie. Mae was a graduate of Coal Township High School and was employed as a clerk/secretary for Purdy Insurance Agency and Thompson Insurance Agency and was a member of Mary Mother of God Parish, North Scranton. Mae loved spending time with her family. She was a wonderful wife, mother and nana to those who loved her most. She will be greatly missed by many. She is survived by her husband Raymond, one son, Peter Savage and wife Karen, Scranton, one grandson, John Paul Savage, Scranton, one granddaughter, Kate Savage Chapman and husband Dylan, Scranton, one brother, John Gotaskie and wife Barbara, Sunbury, many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. She was also predeceased by four siblings; Francis Gotaskie, Theresa London, Rita Sosnoskie and Edward Gotaskie. A heartfelt thank you to the Allied Hospice team and Regional Hospital eighth floor nursing staff, most notably Holly RN, for their kindness, care and compassion. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, 10 am at Holy Rosary Church, Mary, Mother of God Parish, 316 William Street, North Scranton, PA 18508. Masks and social distancing will be required. Interment will be in Abington Hills Cemetery, South Abington Township. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care and direction of the Edward J.
