Marion Zimorowicz, 88, of West Scranton, passed on Monday evening at Linwood Nursing and Rehab Center. Her husband, Zigmont “Ziggy” Zimorowicz, died in 2011. Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late John and Anna Juse Wenglovski. Marion was a graduate of Taylor High School, a member of SS Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church and retired from Vermont Sportswear of Taylor. She was an avid citizen’s radio buff and a member of the Citizens Band Radio Club and enjoyed Pysanky egg decorating. Marion is survived by her son, Ronald Zimorowicz and wife Mary, Scranton, two grandsons, Michael Zimorowicz and Matthew Zimorowicz and fiancée Chelsea Nelson, two great grandchildren; Zoey-Lynn and Kaden Michael, two sisters; Dorothy Schuster, Florida and Jean Murphy, Clarks Summit, numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Betty Conforti and daughter in-law, Jessica Zimorowicz. A private Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Thursday at SS Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church by the Rev. Fr. Sam J. Ferretti, Pastor and Deacon Carmine Mendicino. Interment followed at Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst Township. Arrangements were entrusted to the direction and care of the Edward J. Chomko Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 262 Railroad Avenue, West Scranton.
