Patricia A. Cotterick, 68, of West Scranton, died Monday evening at Green Ridge Health Center. Her husband of 41 years is Carl G. Cotterick. Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Ann Carson Stivala. She was a graduate of Bishop Egan High School, Levittown, PA, and Bucks County Technical School. Patricia worked as a LPN at Mercy Hospital for more than 26 years until her illness and was a member of the Sloan Seniors. She is also survived by one daughter, Kelly Rivera and husband Paul, Lebanon, NJ, one grandson, Reese, one sister, Tina Townsend, Dunmore, one brother, John Mulkerin, Scranton, one aunt, Catherine Carson, nieces, nephews and cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 9:30 am in SS Peter & Paul Roman Catholic Church, 1309 West Locust St., Scranton, by the Rev Sam J. Ferretti, Pastor. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery, Taylor. Viewing for family and friends will be on Thursday in the Edward J. Chomko Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 262 Railroad Avenue, West Scranton, from 4 to 7 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to Hospice of the Sacred Heart, 100 William St., Dunmore, PA 18512.
