Patrick M. Clemens “Clemy”, 51, of South Scranton, died Friday from injuries sustained in an ATV accident in Indian Stream Twp., Maine. His wife of 25 years is Judi “Jude” Hughes Clemens. Born in Hughestown, he is the son of Robert and Dolores Legg Clemens, FL. A 1981 graduate of Scranton Technical High School, he was a member of St. John Neumann Parish, South Scranton and employed as a sheet metal mechanic at Tobyhanna Army Depot. Patrick was a loving son, husband, father, uncle, and friend who was always there to lend a hand. He enjoyed caring for his family immensely. Patrick was passionate about creating custom moldings, cabinets, and various other furnishings from wood. He was compelled to explore the various trails and paths locally and abroad on his ATV. “Clemy” was extremely proud of his creation in his family’s garage: his “man-cave”. He is survived by two sons, Patrick M. II and Nicholas, both of Scranton. He is also survived by two brothers Robert Clemens and wife Theresa, Clarks Summit, James Clemens and wife Carol, Taylor, and one sister, Carolyn Harmer, Avoca. Patrick leaves behind his K-9 friends, Madison, Sadie, & Jake. Patrick was preceded in death by a brother Michael and a sister Donna. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 9:30 AM in St. John Neumann Parish. Interment will be private. Viewing for family and friends will be on Friday, 4 to 8 PM in the Edward J. Chomko Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 262 Railroad Avenue, West Scranton.
