Pauline C. Langan, 91, Elan Gardens, formerly of the Bellevue section of Scranton, died Wednesday at Abington Manor. Her husband Gerald Langan, died in 1995. Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Rose Lipcavage. Educated in West Scranton High School, she was a member of the former St. John the Baptist Church, West Scranton and was a retired seamstress working in the local garment industry. She is survived by one son, Patrick Langan and wife Janet, and one daughter, Rosemarie Quinn and husband Joseph, all of Scranton, eight grandchildren, five great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was also predeceased by four sisters and seven brothers. A Blessing Service will be held on Monday, at 12 noon, officiated by the Rev Stephen Krawontka, in the Edward J. Chomko Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 262 Railroad Avenue, West Scranton. Interment will follow in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, West Scranton. The family will receive friends 11 am until time of services.
