Peter Paul Kobeski Jr., 67 of Taylor, died Tuesday at Geisinger/CMC, after a long illness. Born in Scranton, he was the son of the late Peter and Ann Kuchka Kobeski. He was a graduate of Scranton Technical High School and was employed by SSH, Cincinnati Galvanized and retired from the former Anemostat. He was an avid New York Yankees and Giants fan and enjoyed fishing, especially trout season and summer drives in his Classic Cadillac. He is survived by four sisters, Evelyn Reed and husband Sterling, Romaine Marinelli and husband Joseph, Barbara Klink and husband Ronald, all of Scranton, Nancy Conte and husband Richard, Clarks Summit, 1 uncle, Jack Kuchka, Scranton, a niece and several nephews and great nieces and nephews. His funeral will be on Friday at 10 am, at St. Paul of the Cross Parish in Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary Church, Prospect Avenue, South Scranton, with Mass of Christian Burial to celebrated by Father Scott P. Sterowski, Pastor. Interment will follow in Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary Cemetery, Minooka Section. The family will receive friends in the church from 9:15 until time of Mass.
