Robert A. Angelo Jr., 43, passed away at home Sunday evening. Born in Livingston, NJ his is the son of Robert A. Angelo Sr. and wife Toni, Fairfield, NJ, and Lillian Angelo-Keddy and husband Charles, Dickson City, PA. He was a graduate of West Essex High School, New Jersey, and worked the front desk at Crunch Fitness in downtown Scranton and will be missed by many.
Rob was full of life. He had a love for animals, especially fish. He enjoyed sharing his knowledge of fish with anyone that would listen. He was a devoted father to his son little Robert. Any free time he has was spent with his son. He loved fishing, the shore, weight lifting, watching movies, listening to music, hiking, cars and being surrounded by nature. To know Robert was to love him. He loved to laugh and make people laugh. He had a huge heart and cared about everyone. Robert will be missed by anyone that knew him.
Robert is survived by 1 son, Robert A. Angelo III, Scranton, 1 sister Jaime Angelo, Totowa, NJ, 2 Brothers, Keven Angelo, Scranton and Christopher Angelo, Fairfield, NJ, his beloved niece Lily and nephews Christian, Tommy, Jax, and Zak. His girlfriend is Melissa Rutzel, Scranton. He is also survived by his sons mother Lisa Archer, Scranton. Robert was predeceased by his sister, Christie Angelo who passed away in 2012.
A celebration of life will be on Saturday November 2, from 4 – 6 PM in the Edward J. Chomko Funeral Home & Cremation Services, West Scranton. Celebrant; Pastor John Babbitts will lead a religious service at 4:15 PM
