Robert “Big Bob” Woelkers Jr., died peacefully at home on Sunday, August 23, 2020 after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. He was a member of St. John Neumann Parish, Scranton. He was the President of the Dugout Secret Society. Bob was an avid fan of the New York Giants, NASCAR, Elvis and beer. Bob also enjoyed German food, QVC and trips to Lancaster. He often imitated Elvis at family functions to rave reviews. Bob loved camping and he found his seasonal camping home at Onawandah Campground. Bob told a great story, many over a drink at his favorite tavern The Dugout. Bob is survived by four children; Denise Faherty (Mike Audi), Jeffrey Woelkers, Melissa Richards (Rick) and Matthew Woelkers. Three grandchildren; David, Ryan and Brayden all of whom he was incredibly proud of. Siblings; Ann Coolbaugh, William Woelkers (Bernadette), sister in law Carol Trapper, nieces and nephews. We would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to the wonderful nurses at Hospice of the Sacred Heart.
